Villa Alemana prepares for the start of its first major soccer leagueThis November 16, the Villa Alemana Bundesliga 2024 will begin, an exciting soccer league that promises to become a new sporting tradition for the commune. With 10 men's teams and 7 women's teams ready to compete, the matches will be played on Mondays and Saturdays, providing weeks full of action and rivalry in a family and competitive environment. The round-robin format ensures that each team plays at least 9 matches in the men's category and 6 matches in the women's category, with the top 4 advancing to the semi-final phase in both categories. The league lasts three months, and matches of 6 players per team will be played on the field. The matches will take place on the CDV fields, and the tournament will culminate with exciting finals where the best teams in Villa Alemana will be crowned. In addition to cash prizes for the top three places in both categories, the league will offer special recognition to the top scorers and best goalkeepers of the tournament. The organisers hope that this event will not only promote local sport, but also camaraderie between the participating teams and the community at large.
