PRELIMINARY Regulations of the 2024 German Village BundesligaGENERAL INFORMATIONLeague Name: 2024 German Village BundesligaStart Date:Start: November 16Number of Matches per Day: 5 matches will be played per day, played on Mondays and Saturdays. Monday schedule: 19:00 - 23:00 hrs; Saturday schedule: 18:00 - 22:00 hrs. REGISTRATION AND PARTICIPATIONParticipation Age: Adults (>18 years)Number of Players per Team: Minimum 8, maximum 12 players.Injuries or Withdrawal of Players: In the event of injury or withdrawal of a player, the team may replace him provided the organizing committee is notified in advance and a medical certificate or other documentation justifying the injury is presented. The substitute player must meet all registration requirements before being able to participate in the championship. Captain and Vice-Captain: Each team must designate a captain and a vice-captain. Both must use WhatsApp for official communication. The captain will be in charge of communicating with CDV, signing ballots, communicating information to the team, and mentioning comments and observations to CDV.Registration Deadline: November 9, 2024.Quotas: Men's 10 teams; Women's 7 teamsRegistration and Participation Costs:Men's Registration Cost: $150,000 (9 matches guaranteed)Women's Registration Cost: $110,000 (6 matches guaranteed)COMPETITION FORMATMatch Duration: Each match will have two 20-minute halves with a 3-minute halftime break.Delay at halftime: If a team does not return to the field within the stipulated 3-minute break, the referee may caution the captain with a yellow card for a team delay. If the delay is longer than 5 minutes, the offending team could lose the match with a score of 3-0, depending on the decision of the referee and the organizing committee. Match days: Monday and/or Saturday. Elimination format: Regular phase: All against all. The first 4 teams advance to the semifinals and finals. GAME RULES Mandatory equipment: T-shirts of the same color (ideally with names and numbers, not mandatory). The color of the T-shirt must always be the one registered on the registration form. Shin guards. The use of long metal studs is not allowed, only lower or smooth studs. Substitutions in the game: Unlimited, you must notify the referee and wait for the signal to enter the field. Special rules: The player may be sanctioned for inappropriate behavior both on and off the court. SCORING AND CLASSIFICATIONScoring system: Victory: 3 points. Tie: 1 point. Loss: 0 points.Results Record: Match results will be recorded physically and digitally. The physical version must be checked and signed by the captain. They will be posted in a WhatsApp group and on Instagram.Goal Record: Player's Obligation: If the player who scores a goal has no number on his shirt, it is the player's responsibility to inform the referee of the scorer's name immediately after scoring a goal.If the player does not inform the referee of the scorer's name, the goal will be recorded as "unscored" and the player will not be credited in the individual scorer statistics.Rules for advancing to the Semi-Finals: In the event of a tie in points between two teams, goal difference will be considered. If the tie persists, the head-to-head matches between the teams involved will be reviewed. If the head-to-head results in a draw, the following criteria will be used in order of priority: most goals for, fewest goals against, fair play (fewest cards) and, if necessary, a draw of lots. Rules for Semi-Finals and Finals: In the event of a draw in the semi-finals and finals, a shoot-out of 5 penalties will take place (all players in attendance must take a penalty before the player to take a penalty is retaken). If a team has fewer players available for a penalty shoot-out, the number of kicks will be adjusted to ensure that all available players take part before a kick is retaken. CONDUCT AND SPORTSMANSHIPCode of Conduct: Good behaviour is required of players, coaches and spectators. If a team repeatedly commits serious offences (fighting, misconduct*), they may be banned from the league without a refund.Card Control: A record of yellow and red cards will be kept.Accumulation of cards:An accumulation of yellow cards (e.g. 3 in the regular phase) will result in a suspension for the next match.Direct red card: The player will be suspended for at least one match (the next one). Depending on the severity of the offence, the organising committee may decide that the suspension covers more than one match, even if it is the final.In the semi-finals: Only yellow cards will be erased before the final. Responsibilities of the Referees: The referees will be responsible for maintaining order during the match, enforcing the rules and sanctioning inappropriate behavior.*Any inappropriate behavior not specified in these regulations will be evaluated by the organizing committee, and the corresponding sanctions will be determined according to the severity of the offense. ORGANIZATION OF MATCHES Team Responsibilities: Respect schedules. Players must arrive 15 minutes early to present themselves at the table. The captain must ensure that all players are properly equipped before the match. At the end of the match, they must sign the ticket with the goals and warnings. Minimum number of players to present themselves: 4 players on the court. A maximum of 5 minutes must be waited after the scheduled start time of the match. If a team has not completed the minimum number of players in that time, it will lose the match by a score of 3-0. The team present may choose to play a friendly match if it so wishes, although this will not be valid in the classification. Interruptions in the match: In the event that a match is interrupted due to force majeure (such as bad weather, power cuts, etc.), the organizing committee will decide whether the match should be resumed, rescheduled or whether the partial result will be considered final. If the match has progressed more than 50%, the partial result may be declared final.SAFETY AND HEALTHSafety Protocols: Immediate first aid (wound dressing, bleeding control) and call for an ambulance if necessary. Medical expenses are the responsibility of the player.Insurance Requirements: It is optional to purchase sports insurance.PROTESTS AND APPEALSProtest Process: Only the captain may submit complaints in writing with his or her name, date and signature.Dispute Resolution Deadlines: 1 week.PRIZES AND RECOGNITIONSPrizes for winners: MaleFemaleFirst place$280,000 + surprise$210,000 + surpriseSecond place$180,000 + surprise$140,000 + surpriseThird place$60,000 + surprise$30,000 + surpriseOther prizes: Recognitions for the most popular team name, for the top scorer and for the least beaten goalkeeper.OTHER DETAILSAdvertising and Sponsorship: Sponsors will be allowed to hang banners on the fields during the championship season.Clarifications and Modifications to the Regulations: The organizing committee reserves the right to modify the regulations Regulations if necessary. Any changes will be communicated to the teams in advance. Withdrawal: Once the championship has started, if a team wishes to withdraw from participation, they will be entitled to a 50% refund of the total registration fee. After 5 games played, there is no right to a refund. If a team withdraws from the tournament, all pending games will be recorded as automatic victories for the remaining teams with a score of 3-0. The results of the games already played will stand, unless the organizing committee decides otherwise. Damage to our facilities: Any damage caused to the facilities or equipment due to negligence or misuse during the games must be covered financially by the responsible team. Situations not covered: Any situation not covered by these regulations will be resolved by the organizing committee, who reserves the right to make decisions that maintain the sporting spirit of the tournament and to modify the regulations if necessary.
